    I don't think preferential entry programmes are really anything to be cheering about. They exist for the benefit of the healthcare system and for future patients to prosper from, not to expedite someones fantasies of becoming a Doctor.

    A friend of mine with dyslexia had to sit a bunch of tests in February to get dispensation/extra time in tests and exams, and was told there are 2-3 places in medicine offered to students applying via UTAS.
