Are there any Dentistry schools that take non-standard applicants like for Medicine?

    Thanks for your time :)

Doesn't Sydney also have non-standard entry for Dentistry?

    Non-standard using UMAT?

I believe that for USyd, it is a graduate program therefore you need to sit the GAMSAT instead + the biology prerequisite. Degree at USyd is DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine).

Yeah non-standard using UMAT. I have read through some requirements, and some say you need a (EDIT: 99.5) for entry as a school leaver (and, I assume, as a non-standard) (e.g. Sydney and Queensland) so maybe non-standard Dent is not an option for me :/

Hmmm how else can I enter for non-standard aside from UMAT?

USyd, from what I can see, has two entries (one graduate and one for school leavers).
Study Dentistry - Faculty of Dentistry - The University of Sydney

    Non-standard (non-graduate pathways)

For Queensland, however, you can apply using UMAT. If you have a GPA high enough (which can be converted into a OP1 rank) + have a high UMAT score, then you can enter as a non-school leaver. Last year, I believe that if you had a UMAT which ranked above the 92% percentile, then you were offered a place.

See GPA section in document below.
    https://future-students.uq.edu.au/files/8838/UG_Entry_Options_2018.pdf

Other universities, which I know of, who accept non-school leavers are: CSU/Latrobe/ (not sure about the application for those), and University of Adelaide.

For UofAdelaide, you need a high UMAT score + a GPA which can be translated to relatively high ATAR. Then you get selected for interviews and so on.

This is fantastic information. Thank you!! Yeah my GPA is currently 7.0/7.0, but my UMAT this year was a 79 (168) :/ so I'll try again next year.
