JCU medicine 2017 offer calls

I was wanting to apply for JCU next year. Could you let me know how much (days, weeks, months, etc) volunteering you have done, and where at?
It would help me so much.

Volunteer at medical centres as well as hospitals ( if they take you). Do work experience at rural medical centres and try help out in aged care homes as they are always easy to get a place at.

I just got a call from JCU offering me a bonded medical place!! :) :)
I'm a non-standard, non-rural... all the disadvantageous things! Not sure what this means for people who said they're not calling this year??
Hey Lachy! congratz on the offer. I am applying for JCU medicine next year and was wondering what atar u received? I am in a similarl position to you as I also am non rural

Thanks A1, I was wondering if u know whether a predicted atar of 99 with a decent (not outstanding) application be sufficient for an interview?

Sorry I don't know the answer to this. If I really have to guess I'd say yes a decent application should be sufficient with 99 ATAR based on the saying 99 is a competitive score.
