    Hello,

Does anyone here study the Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy at the University of Newcastle? What is it like? Is this program difficult to do well in? What essential textbooks and equipment do you need (first year) and should second hand textbooks as a cheaper option be worthwhile?

    Thanks! :)

Its not as easy as we think but still, if you are interested then definately you will be successful in this particular field. Oral health therapists perform clinical procedures including scaling and cleaning teeth, managing gum problems, fillings and simple extractions for children, applying fluoride and other solutions to teeth and gums, local analgesia, dental radiography, taking impressions and a range of orthodontic duties. They also play an important role in the promotion of oral health in the community.
