Why do you always make life difficult for others haha, but seriously that's a good question you need to ask Monash.

I imagine NSW students will have similar dilemma now if they want to say UNSW unbonded 1st, WSU unbonded 2nd, UNSW bonded 3rd, etc. Used to be able to do that.

Aaah... I was thinking about how the UMAT has A-E for every question (including those without an E option), and I've developed this hopefully irrational fear that instead of choosing 'D' for S1 and S2, that I accidentally chose 'E'. Is is September yetttt?

I have heard anecdotal reports of people doing exactly this, unfortunately. That said, I was convinced I was going to do this last year, and I didn't. If it's something you consciously considered prior to or during the exam, then you're no doubt safe :) did you have to blind guess many from S1 & 2?

I went from front to back on the exam because I always found it hard to do a chunk of a certain section at a time. Although I had no trouble with time during my prep, I did have to guess maybe 15 at the end but am pretty sure I *didn't* select any Es for S1 and 2 when guessing. Fingers crossed though. I think even if I selected the right bubbles, I'm still not going to get a good enough score.

The benefits of guessing at the end can be huge, so it's good you saved yourself the seconds you needed to do this. For example, out of 15 guessed, 'chance' says you're likely to get 3 - 4 of them correct, which is approximately 6 - 8 raw score points. It can definitely be the difference between a useful score and a score that just misses out, that's for sure. Good luck :)

I just did the JMP application and it was a bit weird because it never asked for my student number. They just asked for my uni and course name. How do they know what marks I got/what marks i'll get by the end of my first year of uni?

Anyways, what did you all put for that really hard S3 question?

Did they ask for your UAC number? I've not done my JMP application yet, but I suspect they let UAC figure all that stuff out re. grades/GPA/degree progress. That's just a guess though...

There's no option for UAC number but I suspect they'll figure out who we are through our UMAT number which they definitely asked for.

I have heard this re UNSW. They explained that they did not know how to convert a WAM to an equivalent ATAR and that UAC did this for them.

Ahh yes I remember UAC made me enter my UMAT number in the application and when I put med as preference, it automatically entered my umat number for each of them on the preference list

So we've elapsed approximately 20/51 days. This is basically 40% of the wait, so only 60% left!
