How hard is it to get into speciality training in Australia?

Does it matter which University you graduate from in Australia when you want to specialise? I assume not...

It seriously varies based on which specialty training you are trying to pursue. If you were trying to pursue a specialty area which has high supply of positions and not enough applicants for those positions (such as psychiatry) you will find it a lot easier than if you were pursuing a specialty which has a low supply of positions and loads and loads of applicants for those (such as neurosurgery).

    Nope, it shouldn't matter.
