I got a call from Townsville JCU but I didn't get to answer since i was at work...does that affect whether I get accepted or not?? Or does getting a call itself mean I have an offer? Thanks!!

Yes I got one from QTAC but no offer email yet? Has anyone got an email from JCU yet?
I haven't. But I also haven't received an email from QTAC saying my application was unsuccessful. I'm confused whether they will send me an email or not.
Delayed emails from universities are not unusual.

To enrol at JCU it says you need your student ID on an offer letter so I'm guessing they will have to email? Just don't know what time...

I've been following this forums for the last 4 years as i've tried to get into medicine. I finally received an offer today and wanted to thank you all for your help. Couldn't have done it without you lot! Best of luck to everyone and congratulations to those who have also received offers.

I’ve gotten the offer online but still haven’t received an email from anywhere
JCU tends to over offer in the first round to compensate for successful candidates getting home state offers and declining JCU. I can't give a number for 2nd round offers though; my estimate is maybe ~10.

If you have the offer on QTAC then congratulations you're in! JCU takes some time to send out emails to all applicants as they need to set up individual LJCU logins for you to create your estudent account and accept/decline the offer. I'd expect you should get an email within the next hour though.

Yup, usually a week after 1st round
If you haven’t received a qtac offer or email, then unfortunately it’s a no but keep your eyes out for 2nd offers

Found out I was successful yestersay via estudent for a Bonded Medical Place. Confirmed today on QTAC and by a phone call from the Deputy VC. Congratulations to all the other successful applicants, and to those who weren't this time around, good luck for the next application.
