Anyone know any med students who go in with a low UMAT of 35th percentile...I did pretty bad in UMAT and my GPA is not the best either.

What are my chances?

Your gpa for your last two years is 7.67? I guess it depends how your interview went but you have a chance. Best of luck.

I know plenty who got in with a UMAT around that. There were also several grads who got in with around that GPA last year. You would need a high interview score, but don't give up hope yet!

Sorry guys, I wrote my GPA wrong; 7.67 is my cumulative and 8.02 is my GPA from last 2 years. I felt very neutral with my interviews; a lot of the prep I did felt unnatural during the interview and so I decided to express my thoughts as if I'm chatting with a friend about a serious problem (the topic of the interview Q). I don't feel overly confident because I haven't seen a lot of grads (on MSO) getting in with UMAT scores similar to me...but then again not everyone posts their entry scores. :( This waiting game is really stressing me out to the point where my face is breaking out into rashes...gross..I know. :/

Hi littlehelper,

You are centainly not the only one. You are definitely in the realm of having a good shot at it. There are many applicants who are just like you, I am sure.

Good luck!
