Being <18 hasn't stopped many others from going in the past...
No, but it would a great addition if they did
If I am to go to a medical conference at the Sydney Convention centre, what are my accomm options?
Hi, I recently have been invited to the New College Village phone interview. I don't have any idea what sort of questions they may ask. I would very very grateful if you could guide me.
Hi, does anyone know approximately when new college offers are coming out?
I heard it was early to mid November that offers were coming out. However, I haven't heard anything as of yet. Hopefully they will come out soon though.
On that note, does anyone if the Shalom interviews are complete?
I haven't heard back from NC yet so I'm pretty anxious :O because I didn't apply to anywhere else.
Please let me know if you have heard back from NC, Poutine. Thanks! x
I'll post on here if I hear back from them. But so far... still nothing.
poutine I received an email from NC saying that i'm on a very long waiting list and its unlikely that I will get an offer :'( Oh well, I will just look into other accommodation options Any news from your part?
I haven't hear anything from New College either.... I think I may have shot myself in the foot only applying for one place at UNSW, I was not expecting to get an interview at all and now that I do have one I'm a little worried if by some wierd way it is the only place I get in I'll have nowhere to live... I didn't think my phone interview went that well...
Are applications still open anywhere now?
I got a place back in October at the Kensington Colleges, no idea how though as in my interview the dean said they were already full!... I'd call them up asap and check though, I think they have a few spots reserved for the later rounds and don't do offers all in one hit like New
hey there!im shameer n i'll be doing med next year.i havn applied to any colleges yet..is it too late?any suggestions?im looking for 1 closest to the med faculty.thanks alott for the help
Got an email from New College today saying I was waitlisted, I kind of buggered up the phone interview. Applied for UNSW village and now really hoping that it doesn't end up being my only med offer...
pretty much all the colleges except creston are towards the opposite end of campus to med
hey with regards to sport at the colleges is it like a weekly thing? loving basketball would there be a chance to play with the college im staying at?
hey im pretty sure all colleges take part in inter-coll sport, and I heard rumours that unsw village is going to be entering the comp this year but its just rumours, and im not sure how theyre going to figure that one out. For inter college, different sports take place at different times of the year, basketball lasts around 8 weeks.
I'm starting medicine at UNSW next year and I'm trying to decide on accommodation. I've been accepted into the Kensington Colleges but everyone I speak to says not to go because it's too full on. Has anyone got any insight? And where are others planning on living? I'm also thinking about the Terraces but am not quite sure if they will have much social interaction at all.
I have moved your thread here as its on the same topic
You'll be fine at Kenso colleges. It is full on, but you can always opt out of the activities. There will be a lot of medical students at Kenso in the same position as you. Around exam time I'm sure you'll find that the medical students all withdraw into their caves.
