For those who have done the Bond Medical Interview:
  • What is the interview format for medicine at Bond?
  • What MMIs did you get?
  • What were the questions they asked?
  • What were the challenges, etc?
  • Were you successful?

The interview format is an MMI with 7 stations of approximately 7 minutes each. 1 interviewer per station with 4 questions per station. Each question is marked out of 4 marks which makes 16 marks per station. Each station also has an extra criteria of communications skills which is also marked out of 4, thus meaning that each station is worth a total of 20 marks.

The scenarios are pretty common and try to test whether you can think logically under pressure keeping morals and ethicals codes in views when answering questions. The stations are based on 4 common themes
1. Knowledge and Critical thinking
2. Leadership, Initiative and Teamwork
3. Communication skills ( Acting station )
4. Responsibility

Before you enter any station, you will be given 2 minutes to read the information card outside the room. This will have the general scenario and stem but will not have the questions that will be asked. Depending on the number of applicants in a particular interview round, there may be a rest station.

Hopefully this helps ! Good luck and let me know if you have any other questions.
Hey! How would you say is the best way to prepare for the interview?
