Does anyone know if 99.5 ish will be a good enough atar for provisional entry into griffith dent?

Hi Luke, unfortunately it hasn't been enough in previous years - last year's cutoff was 99.65 - but certainly no harm in applying and you may sneak if for a late round offer if you're lucky.

There are two types of cutoff: a threshold set by the school as a qualifying mark (I prefer not to call this a cutoff but others do) which seldom changes, and a competitive cutoff determined by applicants vs spots available. This Dent cutoff is the latter type so it's not GU who decide to or not to increase it.

There have been subsequent offers for GU Med so it's possible for Dent. They may not be in a formal offer round; when the school receives declines from the 1st round offers they contact the next ranked applicants. These top-up offers are usually 0.05-0.1 below the published 1st round cutoff.
