Hi everybody,
I've got a question about choosing a university to undertake my dentistry studies. I was thinking about Griffith but I am not sure about its reputation compared to other Australian universities such as UQ. I just don't wanna face difficulties in finding jobs after graduation.
Thank you

dentist is dentist - does not matter what university he did graduation from.
Well, it all depends on how much training you are getting. It's not only true about dentistry but also about other fields and courses.

Hi, as a dentist I can tell you that it really does not matter where you graduate from. Lots of Griffith dentists are becoming specialists without anyone holding against them where they did their undergrad training from. Of course there are some dental schools that come with added advantages, such as their research departments, faculty academics, access to rural centres and hospitals etc. Like they say, the best dental school is the one that gives you entry, but if you're one of those lucky few that gets to choose between multiple dental schools you can decide your preference based on above factors and also location, accessibility to family, travel from home etc etc

I’m more familiar with the double degree Med pathway but assuming they’re similar, there is an interview and you find out if you’ve been successful almost straight away. There is a technical skills assessment too.????

Double degree med pathway? I assume you’re talking about a different uni than Griffith? Griffith doesn’t interview candidates for dentistry.
