Hi All, have you heard about the Medical Board is going to bypass the specialty colleges to register IMGs ? Would this cause an influx of IMGs ? Given the current waiting periods to get into surgical training, would it create a bottleneck at the end of the already prolonged training?

The IMGs have been coming for a long time but have not been solving the shortage of doctors issue, I don't think it will affect our jobs
