I have heard that nsl entry is more difficult to get in.
Also I was thinking to do a foundation course to improve my academic profile, will that help?
Please see these tables first

[Undergrad] - (2018 Updated) Med schools Selection Criteria Y12s & Non-standards
>
2017-18 Dent schools Selection Criteria Y12s & Non-standards
1) As Yamster and Crow have advised you'll see as a school leaver ATAR 80 isn't enough for any Med or Dent school.
2) A foundation course will not change your ATAR at all, you are stuck with the ineligible 80.
3) The most practical path for you now is to start an undergrad degree at any uni
- Choose one that can provide a reasonable career should you be unable to get into Med/Dent in future, at the same time allow you to achieve a high GPA to compete for Med/Dent.
- During 1st & 2nd year sit the UCAT apply for undergrad Med/Dent as non-standard.
- I'm not familiar enough with Dent so will only mention Med here. You will be eligible to apply to JCU (GPA 6.2+ to be competitive), WSU (6.1+), JMP (4.8+). See the non-standard section in the Med table linked above.
4) By 3rd year if you are still not in Med/Dent you should do the GAMSAT and start looking into grad entry for graduates. We can discuss this 1-2 years from now. All the best.
