La Trobe Dentistry unbelievable low ATAR?

ATAR's at a point become based on position demand and not a reflection of academic demand. I'm yet to see the difference between a 99.90 person and a 90 TBH... Like an art's degree requiring 99.95? Let's be honest, I didn't think it took 99.95 to know your times tables.

Sorry I was asking about position demand. Why was it like 99.6 at Griffith for a partial full-fee course and 93+%ile UMAT for an interview at Adelaide but just 97.4 for a place at La Trobe?

Is it in a place fewer people want to live for 5 years? Or is there a perception amongst highschoolers that it's a 'lesser' course?

Because it does seem odd that a course with similar selection criteria for the same degree would have consistently lower cut-off.
