Med/Dent Interview Preparation

Admissions Speculator
I have seen some questions of this type for panel interviews.
What would you do to: stop underage drinking, reduce dropping out of school before finishing year 12, close the gap in life expectancy etc.
> Obesity Is Now Considered a Disease
"The American Medical Association (AMA) has officially recognized obesity as a chronic disease. Defining obesity as a disease should spur physicians and patients to regard it as a serious medical issue."

Med schools can ask school leavers about underage drinking, dropping out of school early etc - these are social issues. To give them a hypothetical responsibity of solving a medical issue before they get any medical training is mad.

I went to four interviews three of which were panel, was never asked anything medicine related. In fact UNSW straight out say they won't interview on anything medicine, because that's for them to teach after you get in.

Some universities may ask what are common health issues related to certain socioeconomic classes. Not hinting at any university in particular but they may expect you to know a little bit about general health issues to show your interest or passion in health.
