Hi All,
Happy New Year - I hope this year has started well for all of you.

Today, I'm pelased to announce one of a number of new sections to be launched on MSO - the Profiles Section.

In this section, we will be profiling/interviewing medical specialists, trainees, allied health professionals and students. We aim to release 2-3 profiles per week and we hope this will prove to be useful for prospective students and junior health professionals.

The first profile is in this section is Professor Sankar Sinha - Professor of Surgery at the University of Tasmania.

We hope you enjoy this section - if you would like to contribute or have any feedback, please contact us or use the Site Feedback forum.

Cheers,
Isuru

Wow these profiles are really interesting. It shows a roughly accurate timeline to become a surgeon as well as what is actually involved in practicing medicine, such as continually updating your skills i.e. lots of reading. Keep posting these profiles us Isuru! You and all the other MSO mods/helpers are doing a great job!! =D
