How does UTAS choose the top 10 or the 10 spots?Ahaha..thanks :lols:
Forgot to mention that there is a sort-of subcategory within the non-standard category: the alternative pathway. I think there's about 10 places for this category. Basically it's for people who study certain courses at UTAS. I studied one of those courses last year - but I only studied for one semester so they counted me as a non-standard applicant <_<
An admin lady told me that the chances of getting in from the alternative pathway is much higher than the non-standard pathway - given you meet the GPA +/- ATAR minimum and have a UMAT score higher than the lowest last year. I don't remember the numbers she gave me but it won't be accurate anyway -_-
The info is based on what I know from applying last year. So please don't throw things at me if things are a lot different this year
Fairly positive that applicants are ranked by their UMAT score. I'm not sure what happens if some people have the same UMAT scores though :mellow:How does UTAS choose the top 10 or the 10 spots?
Is it ranked by UMAT score, once the other criteria have been met?
