What variety do you see each day?

We see a lot of people saying how boring dentistry is as its all the same, so can I get some dentists to post how their actual day goes?

How many patients and what each complaint/resolution was?

I think it would be interesting.

Lots of variety - preventative work, fixed pros, endo, perio, extractions, implants. Variety is pretty much based on what your scope of practice is, and how much you want to learn and pursue. A busy dentist could see 10+ patients a day. If you don't like a specific part of dentistry and work in a group practice, you can always focus on the area of work you want to do. Some practices give the preventative and scale and clean work with OHT/Hygienists.

Dentistry is what you make of it. Some dentists like to stick to their groove and are comfortable there, but others are very progressive and attend courses in new techniques.

I think dentistry is changing a lot and there are many opportunities to expand in new knowledge which is directly applicable the next day. It's definitely not boring.

I'm still learning and am improving techniques every week ( I graduated 1997 and am now a specialist) and am still loving it everyday
