JPM WSU/CSU JPM: WSU General Discussion and Questions

Do we need to enrol into classes already? All I did was accept the offer...I thought the deadline was for accepting. I may have misread though.

Hey, sorry to bother but I was unable to attend the WSU Managing Preferences Webinar yesterday. Would it be possible for someone to give me a summary of what was said during that zoom meeting. Thank you so much.

Just for the info of others when I asked if BMP gets upraged I was told

'The School of Medicine unfortunately do not unbond / nor convert bonded places for any successful students that have been offered a place in Bachelor Clinical Sciences (Medicine) / Doctor of Medicine (MD) and your offer made remains as is as a bonded place.'

I see this applicant got WSU unbonded on 25th Jan (i.e. after the main round)
> Aus Med and Dent Offers 2024 Entry - Collated Data

So JPM can't be bothered to upgrade an earlier bonded, they offer unbonded to a lower-ranked applicant instead?

apparently that email was sent to me by the school of medicine by someone who spoke to the manager, interestingly enough this was sent to me by admissions

'Additionally, where we make late offers, those are bonded so anyone who was the most competitive receiving a bonded place, would then become eligible to have an unbonded place.'

So its a bit hard knowing what is really going on

I tend to think BMPs can be upgraded. It makes no sense otherwise and we see evidence of it happening regularly at other unis.

Hey guys, is 2640 enough for an RA2 interview offer at WSU through their rural scheme?
Your WSU-weighted score is 656.
A rural applicant got interview last year with 588 so it should be yes for you (unless you get rejected by SJT too low, like below 530).
