A1 adds: Versus the post below, in combination your 99.40 / 3320 is quite better than 99.50 / 3160 but you only get a reconsideration. It's increasingly clear UNSW has a hard ATAR cutoff of 99.50 regardless how high UCAT.
It doesn't make sense UNSW specifies ATAR 96.0 eligibility then applies an arbitrary 99.50 cutoff. Let ATAR+UCAT work in combination for interview selection please UNSW.

I was a bit surprised that I was below the cutoff for interviews, as I thought my GPA at least would convert to high enough for an interview. Last year my UNSW results didn't make it to UAC in time for first round interviews, is it possible that's what has happened here again or have cutoffs risen this year? I'm not sure if my results are high enough that it's worth giving the uni a call and asking?

I already received firm offers for Notre Dame Sydney Postgraduate Medicine and Monash University Postgraduate Medicine and will be taking the Monash Postgrad Med offer commencing 2024 after sitting the UCAT 4 times and the GAMSAT 3 times. Good luck to everyone who is waiting for January interview offers. If I somehow get one, I will 100% be declining the interview offer

UNDS might be weighting UCAT more heavily.
On UCAT discord I saw a 97.85 3220 receive an interview offer, but 99.50 3160 didn't.

ETA: Ijust had another look at the notre dame assured web page. I don't think they weight ATARs. Looks like they just use UCAT to offer interviews and have a precribed ATAR.
