Do you know whether they also accounted for that in UWA's interview invites? Because if they didn't and you still managed to get an invite with a 78, then many people will be getting invites

I did make it known to them via an email - that they did reply to saying that they would take that it would be taken into consideration. However, this was a couple months ago and whether or not it was taken into account in the actual interview invite process is unknown as I have not yet contacted them. It would be definitely be hard to believe that a 78 percentile would actually have landed an interview, considering no other UCAT-ranking med uni has invited me for an interview.

It looks to me like UWA interview selection for WA applicants is based on UCAT but for interstates ATAR+UCAT. So apart from the consideration given to your UCAT your 99.90 would have played a big part in getting an invite.
