This is so helpful thank you so much!!!
I do have a follow up tho?
Since the second question on the app gets you to speak about "indigenous health, tropical health and rural/remote dentistry", should I mention this when answering the first 'why do you want to study dent' question too? Or just leave it separate, as it is already another section?
cuase initially I was going to do what you had said, but upon actually seeing the questions I'm confused, cuase I dont really want to be repetitive in what I'm saying.

Thanks again!
Good question. For that first question I didn’t mention Indigenous Oral health, I only mentioned my experiences visiting rural/regional Australia. It wasn’t until that third question where I actually properly went into it :)

Hi everyone,
I have another application question ( I know guys hopefully this is the last one 😭), its to do with question 4.
4. Provide any other information you believe will support your application for dentistry.

Since that question doesn't have a compulsory star on it, and that makes me feel like I dont need to answer it? (I fear this may be a lil trick)

So, do I need to answer this question?
If I should please give me ideas on what I could say, cause they havent given me a direction with this. Tbh the only thing I haven't spoken about is my academics, i dont really think they wanna hear me speak about that lolll.

Thanks guys, have a great day! (or night:))

(All recomendations will be appreacited 🫶)

Yes you should most definitely answer this question. This question should be where you add a couple of last important details about yourself that you were unable to mention in the previous questions. Whilst also essentially wrapping up your “essay” and concluding why these experiences and details about you would make you a suitable candidate to complete the BDS program at JCU.

You are literally so helpful, you're literally gonna be the best dentist ever.

Hey!! Has anyone done the mathtrackx or unilearn programme that could comment on which one they recommend to take to reach the maths requirements? Esp if its doable in a shorter period (10ish weeks) since you only need a passing grade :)

Hi
If some one s first preference is medicine and second is dentistry ,would it be a matter to select him/her for medicine as applied for both in he same application

The questions phrasing is twisting my brain a bit. It doesn't matter if you put both on the application. If you prefer medicine, just put it higher. You can put bonded and unbonded too. For instance:
- Med unbonded (Cairns)
-Med unbonded (Townsville)
- Med bonded (Cairns)
- Med bonded (Townsville)
-IDK UQ med or something
- JCU dent

Hi, I'm currently doing MathTrackX and it's quite flexible. I finished the first course within a month (although I could've finished it sooner if I'd put in more time). Not sure if that helps!
