UAC OFFERS INFORMATION

Here is a run down so we don't have repeats of the same question and/or panic when people don't get an email exactly on midnight...

If things go the same as they have in previous years...

UAC will start sending emails from midnight. This email will only say that you have an offer, it won't tell you what the offer is for. If you have only applied to Med courses via UAC then you can rest assured it will be one of those, but if you have other courses in your preferences, then it may not be Med.
** UPDATE: there is a possibility UAC have updated this process and the initial email you receive from them may provide offer details.

You will also receive a confirmation and congratulatory email from the University you were successful at prompting you to enrol and telling you when the cutoff for enrolment is. These can also come out at random times as well. If you get a JMP offer, then your email will come from the University that has offered you the spot (ie. I got an email from UNE).

You will also be able to log into UAC at approximately 7.30 to see the details of your offer there (ie. whether it is CSP or BMP).

Rejection emails will NOT be sent by the universities, but you may receive an email from UAC telling you you were not successful this round.

Here are the exact details of the UAC offers I received for 2018 entry to illustrate the timing and how it can vary.

December 21st rural round (no longer a thing): offer info came through via email at 0207 from UAC and got email confirmation from WSU at 0732.
January 12th first round: offer info came through via email at 1257 from UAC and got email confirmation from UNE at 0848.

I don't know if this is a new thing, but when i received the email from UAC during the dec offer rounds it stated which course i had receive it for. It also stated which course i had yet been made offers too.

Oh, excellent! If that's the case, it's definitely new. Hopefully it continues for this round! I've updated my post.

For everyone’s interest:
For 2019 entry I received the UAC email at 3:08am informing me that I wasn’t made an offer

Can I just confirm it was an email from UAC saying you'd not received a offer this round, but not a formal rejection email saying you also won't get a second round/top up offer? Just to clarify so I can update the info.

This is the harrowing email 🥺☹☹[MedStudentsOnline.com.au] Med and Dent - 2020 Entry (Offers - DATA ONLY)
Extra info:
I was only given an interview for the JMP for 2019 entry

When you recieve that email do you have to accept within a certain time?

Yes, all offers have an 'expiry date' but it's usually a week or so, it's not like you only get three minutes and if you miss the email, then you're outta luck. This is so any offers that are not accepted can be passed on in a timely manner. That said, it's also possible (but not recommended in most situations) to accept/enrol in multiple offers (either within the same TAC or across multiple TACs).

Is there a facebook page for this class ?
Interviewed in first round.

Congratulations on your offer! The Medical student society usually sets up the new "Class of 20XX" FaceBook page once official offers are released via QTAC. You will be able to join at this link once it is published; JCUMSA.

EDIT 19/01/20: The group has been published.

Oh wow, it also includes the button to accept the offer. That is also new (from 2018 entry).

I got an email from the UAC at 2am but couldn't click that accept button until after 7.30, so if this happens to anyone, don't panic!
