I don't even understand why this was a joke, let alone offensive?

Bleh, I didn't mean for it to be such a big deal. I just took offense because it was like you were implying that if I used some common sense (i.e. logical reasoning-S1) that I could've found out by myself. In my mind, that was a bit rude.No hard feelings though eh
Anywaaaaay, good luck for Maori tomorrow >.< Let's move on. [/OFFTOPIC]

Hoi. Question: where can you find your 'online application number'? There's a little box for it on the declaration form. Anyone finished applying yet?

Hey guys I'm asking on behalf of a mate in hsfy. They were wondering if anyone had some sort of idea when the last hsfy final exam would be this year? The actual dates aren't up yet. Cheers

DON'T book flights etc until you have the official university dates. However, HSFY's last exam (it was HEAL last year) is usually before the end of October.
ETA: At skyglow1 's insistence: Yes, it'll be cheaper to book flights now, and it's unlikely the HSFY exam dates will be much different to previous years.
I still think you're better to wait and see, but *shrug*, up to you.

If HEAL is the last exam, then it'll be the 26th of october.

In our HEAL tutorial the women taking it said HEAL was the last one, but 8th papers could be after that if you're taking one!

I think last year BSNS104 was the day before hubs and MAOR102 was the afternoon after hubs, correct me if I'm wrong (which most of the time I am) :P

Just to let you guys know, officially the S2 exam timetable is supposed to be out in mid-August, which means they're due out in a week or so's time, so the 'wait and see' option isn't that terrible as of now, just saying. (So I guess I'm vaguely countering skyglow1 's argument with "how much can airfares change in the next 7-8 days?")

On the other hand, once the whole timetable is out there may be a wave of students booking flights after exams (because they just found out when they'll finish), so if you do wait for the timetable, be prepared to book flights soon after you get the timetable.

Hey guys, for HEAL do we have to know the specific details about some of the studies or just the general concept behind it? E.g car crash lecture

Hope everyone did well in the MAOR102 online test!

My internet decided to stop working when I first submitted my test but Suzanne helped me out :)

Has anyone done that CVS online test designed by that phd student yet?
Just finished it, it was kinda cool! I ended up talking to the robot thing.

Any idea what they were looking for when they wanted us to list two structures that result in unidirectional blood flow?

Heart and venous valves I believe.

The CVS thing wasn't too bad! A pretty good revision tool!
