With UWA, the required ATAR for BPhil is only 98 while medicine is 99. Meaning if you get into medicine as a standard school leaver you are more or less guaranteed to also get into BPhil. The UCAT barrier for an interview offer was also a lot lower this year as I know some people were offered interviews with as low as 60th percentile.

The reason for Curtin admissions being so low is that the majority of offers are coming out on 31st of Jan. I was sent an email stating no 2019 WACE student would receive an offer in any of the first offer rounds however this seems to be not entirely true as I know someone who got an offer first round as a rural student.

Hi, I have a question about the TISC offer data for 2019/2020 intake. The data on TISC is from the first round (15th of Jan 2020) and shows 95 offers were made where 83 were for WACE students (12 non wace) I was wondering how this is possible as interstates wouldn’t have been interviewed by then

I found the QTAC stats for 2019 Intake offers. QTAC makes it protected I couldn't copy/paste, had to retype into the table below. If you find any of the QTAC course codes wrong for the intended course please alert me to correct.

Interesting to note in some cases the huge difference between Offers made and Number accepted/enrolled.

The 83 are *2019 WACE*, the remaining 12 could be 2018 WACE having taken a gap year.

Notes:
1. Curtin's numbers look a little low. Maybe they don't include the internal Curtin course switchers.

2. I'm surprised to learn there were only 447 WA applicants for UWA MD Provisional, with 143 offers made to them. If UWA interviewed the typical ratio 3 per place it means almost every WA applicant got an interview. More likely they interviewed 2 per place, thus 447 applied > ~300 interviewed > 143 offers > 127 enrolled + 10 deferred.

3. UAC stats don't give Med/Dent specifics, only general fields of study like Health.

i appreciate the data, provided, is it possible for u to make one for 2020 statistics? since this is for 2019, if possible that would be great!
