I was able to view the list of course requirements under "Details" immediately after I finished my application. Did you enter your Year 12 details by putting in your state TAC number/ID at the start of the application? Just a guess, but it might be that your Year 12 results aren’t linked with QTAC. I'd suggest giving QTAC a call.Hi. My daughter applied for UQ and Griffith via QTAC on 15 August. After she submitted application, there is no list of requirement when we click 'details'. It still shows 'Processing of this information has not commenced.' Do we need to wait? Some other people said they can see the list of course requirements.

Hi. I called UAC a few weeks ago asking the exact same question, and they said it was the first option (an Australian Year 12 qualification in 2024).View attachment 5736
Hi guys, I'm a year 12 student in VIC trying to apply to med courses in UAC. Does anyone know which option between option 1 or 2 to select if you're a current year 12 student residing in Victoria? I'm not too sure what a mid-year Year 12 qualification means.. Thanks a lot.
Oh icic. Thank sm!Hi. I called UAC a few weeks ago asking the exact same question, and they said it was the first option (an Australian Year 12 qualification in 2024).

Hi, when applying on VTAC, it says to enter my UCAT number and I'm not too sure what that is. Normally for other state TAC's application you would put ANZ + 8 digit number but on VTAC it just says to enter your number, which sounds like just adding the 8 digit number. Does anyone know how I can go about in this situation? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!.
You're right, it is just our vcaa number.View attachment 5770
Thanks for the reply Bigmac. Also, any Victorians applying on SATAC, does anyone know what should go under Registration/Candidate number? I assume its the VCAA number but I just want to make sure. Thanks
Oh ok. Thank you very much for the help! You're right, it is just our vcaa number.
I believe QTAC changes of preference by 30-Sept are not counted as a change.Regarding UQ provisional entry, QTAC says 30 Sept is the closing date for application and changes of preference. Does this mean if I don't get an interview invite in October I cannot move it from first position at that time?
Thanks A1. Yes, that is my understanding of the QTAC rules too.I believe QTAC changes of preference by 30-Sept are not counted as a change.
After 30-Sept you are allowed two (I think) "free" changes. Any more afterwards you will be charged a fee.
Best to call QTAC to verify.
If that statement refers particularly to UQ Med I think it means to say you cannot add UQ Med to the pref list after 30-Sept (whereas you can other non-Meds).However, that particular statement regarding deadline for changes was under the UQ Provisional entry information. Thinking about it I'm assuming that UQ don't want you switching metro/CQU/USQ prefs between 30 Sept and Interviews.
QTAC charges fee for change before 30 SEP if we try to change more than 2 times. My daughter had it. First, she removed JCU med. Second, she added UQ dent. Then she tried to add another course, but QTAC said she already used free 2 changes, So QTAC tries to charge another $65. It happened in August.I believe QTAC changes of preference by 30-Sept are not counted as a change.

You can remove any courses, and add courses other than med/dent in some cases. I know some TACs don't allow to add med/dent after a certain date due to time considerations for interview invites.I was wondering whether during this 1 day period If you could add or remove courses?
After you accept an offer you can move it to a lower pref but don't remove it (to avoid possible complications, that's what VTAC used to say but didn't explain what complications). You can add a new course if you have a spare slot or remove one no longer wanted. Remember to put the new one at higher pref than the offered one, if lower you won't be considered for it since the system sees that you already got a higher pref.Additionally, If you get an offer in round 1 do you accept this offer and THEN add new preferences to see if they are accepted?
