Bond Bond Medicine: General Discussion

What time do you think the interview offers will be released. Last year I heard the emails were sent late in the afternoon.
I just had a look and it seems that quite a few people received their offers around 3-4pm. On their FAQs it says it's sent out progressively till all spots are filled (240 I believe).

Also, can anyone shed light on whether it's true that applicants who live further away are more likely to have later interview dates due to the need for flight bookings and accomodations etc?

No universities that I’m aware of held in person interviews this year. Have Bond confirmed that their interviews will require applicants to book flights/accommodation? Surely they’ll just do it over zoom like all other unis have?

In the past it seems location has been a factor in interview dates, but I can’t see that being an issue this year.

On their FAQs page it used to say via online platforms for interviews, but it has since changed to "Medical Program^ interviews coordinated and conducted at the Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine." However, I'm almost confident that if an applicant can't make it due to extraneous variables (like border closures or lockdowns etc) then they'd just conduct the interview for them online via Skype.

"Interview invitations will be sent out by email progressively to selected applicants from Friday, 19 Feb 2021" so there isn't really a set time, judging on past years it seems to vary as to what time they send them out!
Yeah that's what I thought too hahaha. I did look at last years interview offers, and a lot of them received an email around 3-4pm.

Anyways, just wanna say to everyone that even if you didn't get an interview offer, you should be proud of yourself for being in the top 50% of applicants and getting a psychometric invite! 🥳🥳

Yeah I'd say it will probably be later on in the day judging off last year!

Exactly right! Fingers crossed for everyone :)

Hey! not too sure about everyone's experiences but I'm from Perth and I got my offer the same time as other people. (late afternoon - around 3:30/4) However my interview was on the last day out of the 3 scheduled interview dates. I had a lot of people from Perth/NZ in my interview circuit.

I applied as an undergrad if that helps :)
