Bond Bond Medicine: General Discussion

Do you guys think they would take timing into consideration when shortlisting candidates? I know they say the test isn’t timed and blah blah, but I kinda went over the recommended time by quite a bit
 
I took the total recommended time, if not a bit longer, to do the EQ test; I found it so fun to do! :yes: I'll be doing the other test tomorrow.

Okay I called bonds and they said interview invites will be sent out next week starting on Monday. They said interstate applicants will be a priority, and also said not to panic if you don't get one on Monday. They said if you haven't received an email by the end of next week call qtac to ask about your application status
 
Hey guys I was looking at Bonds website, and it says interviews are on Feb 26, 27 and Mar 1.... three days to interview 250 people? Sounds like that wouldn't be enough time... I thought in previous years interviews occurred over two weeks?
 
Do you guys think there are less applicants this year since there seems to be a bit of a dip off in the gpa and atar for psychometric testing?

Hold onto your horses' guys! I know they called candidates for interviews while they were being conducted. Not all accept the interview offers (like me), so they call as many as possible to get the mix they want from the pool of interview offers...seems they have a reserve list. The late offers are usually for the local candidates as they can get to Bond in a short notice. Interstate and Internationals will usually get longer notice period.

And, although they say timing is "not considered" at all...I am sure it will be when more people make the cutoff for interview offers. Not sure if they consider the total time or the Emotional part only. I was told that the responses will be matched with a psychologist's response at Revilian for the interview offers and the list is sent to Bond. They cull out that list then to call for the interviews. I wondered how one person's view (even if it is a top class, Nobel level psychologist) can be set as a standard against 500 taking this test as there are no right/wrong answers. It adds to the insane nature of this test which is 0% objective. And, what it costs :
  • Program fees 2019: $27,960 per semester, over 14 semesters
  • Program fees 2020: $28,940 per semester, over 14 semesters
There is an increase of $1000 every year, extrapolating the above it yields a total tuition outlay of $421,200. For those staying away from home, add another $18K to $20K per year for sustenance and miscellaneous Incidentals. So, on the higher side add another $90K. Bond 007 costs $511,200 in TOTAL. You may say, we get FEE_HELP for some part, but it is still a loan that needs to be repaid...so the total out of pocket does not change. :(
