Bond Bond Medicine: General Discussion

Just got off the phone with QTAC about this overall ranking system. So it’s a score from 1-99.95 based on all the components (ATAR/GPA, psychometric and interview). The higher the score, the higher the chance of getting a second round offer. A score of 96 and below would not be considered for second round offers. I was able to check mine and I was told that I am 99.1. Can someone call to confirm this and check their rank?

Yeah, so she said that qtac offers will go first which they manually upload to the qtac system, and then following that, Bond offers/emails go out. She was honestly quite mad at QTAC because she was saying its been putting them in a difficult position all morning with students asking questions/not believing them. Forgot to mention, she also said that after all offers have gone out, if you didnt receive an offer the status will change to unsuccessful.

So sorry for anyone that didn't get offers! I def know the feeling as i've been rejected multiple times from diff unis! This was like my 4th time applying for med. I know it's hard, but keep your head up guys!! <3

everyone that got an offer congrats, so keen to start in may!! Is anyone interested in forming a fb groupchat so we can help each other with the enrolling process and all that! I called QTAC and asked about the rank, and it's just your ATAR, they said that they don't have the scores for psychometric and interview. Also called Bond, and the lady said that if your qtac status is still saying satisfied, you're more likely on the waitlist, and you gotta wait till next week for that. But yeah, she said they are still sending them out individually. Still dunno if they're talking about offer letters to people who already got an offer through qtac, or if they send a letter to you and then update.

I wonder how many people they have on waitlist seems like there’s many of us/can’t tell
 
I called bond and asked about the September admissions point and she said there are two things awaiting approval
1. Whether they will be allowed to start in sept
2. If they will be allowed to accept more people

outcome will be known mid April and applicants will be sorted according to prefs and interview scores
 
So what is Bond doing now? They are literally giving one person an offer at a time through qtac and emails? Or are they just sending out offer letters to everyone who got an update from qtac this morning? Cus i've heard no one getting new offers since 8:30/9:00 today

I think Bond places seem to be constant but they did interview more people this time around I think 300 instead of 200? Yeah I agree though it does seem like only pint size of us got offers though it should’ve been almost 50% of interviewees

Not a clue honestly, I mean if we take what bond says as correct they’re saying they’re manually giving out offers all day and qtac is like lol they’re all out
 
All the offers came out at about 8:33am this morning from QTAC (via text/email) as they do every year. Bond is then throughout the day contacting everyone who got an offer with a letter of offer and details to sign on to their system, that is what Bond means when they say they are “progressively sending out offers today”. There will be no more offers made in the first offer round they have all already come out through QTAC this morning!
