I have applied for FEE-HELP at the current Uni for Physio, census date end of this month. So can I still fill in the FEE-HELP form online for Bond? Will this be automatically transferred to Bond? Any experiences?
Looks like there’s another Office fanSo excited to see you all in May!!
(unless that’s your real name)Quick questions for current Bond Medicine students:
Thanks
- After submission of the FEE-HELP form online and got the 'approved' status, do I need to pay the 1st semester fee stated on the offer form?
- Will Bond deduct all future semester fees on the FEE-HELP until all $150,000 been used up and then I need to pay afterwards?
- For the first 2 years of the Bach of Medical Studies, are most lectures and tutorials based at the Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine building where we had the interview?
- For the last 2 years, where will the main placement or rotations be?
- Where can I access the 2019 Calendar for the Medical Program?
Great thanks for all these. So I could save more money first and not to worry about payment until end of 2020.To answer your questions,
1. After submitting the FEE-HELP form, you just need to pay the SAF (Services and activities fee) which is ~$100.
2. You only have to submit the FEE-HELP form once and Bond will continue to deduct until the $150 000 limit is reached.
3. Yes, most of your lectures and practicals are on campus. There will be occasional off-campus stuff like placement ~ once a semester.
4. There isn't a specific calendar for med - but there is the normal academic calendar which you can find here:
Academic calendar
Hope that helps!

Does anyone know how much do medical books cost each year? Any additional cost apart from Bond school fee and living expenses?

Also, to you really need an ophthalmoscope?
Cheers!
Probably don't need textbooks - bar perhaps Tally and O'Connor I'd say. You also need to purchase a stethoscope (perhaps not now but once you start learning how to perform clinical examinations).
Does anyone know how many second round offers there were last year?
When’s the Facebook group going to be made ?
Hi guys!
Do first years usually live on campus? If so what sort of room does everyone generally get?

yes. very close. So if I am going to get a rental apartment, those available on the Varsity Parade will be close by the main Medicine Building (the one that we had our interview) within 5-10 mins walking distance?
