Bond Bond Medicine: General Discussion

Hi guys,

Is the $100 activities fee covered by FEE-HELP? Or do we have to pay that separately? And if we do, how do we pay it?

p.s. On your offer letters the date and month of your date of birth are switched around. Don't stress about it, Bond said they have it right on their system but just printed it out wrong on the offer letters.

If it's the same as at other Universities, then no, I don't believe the SSAF (or whatever Bond refers to it as) is covered by FEE-HELP. I think you can apply for support to pay it if you need to (at least, you can at UTAS). For UTAS, you can pay it online. I'd imagine Bond would have a similar facility available.

SSAF is not covered by HECS/FEE-HELP but can be covered by SA-HELP if you submit a similar application

I have a question to all medical students who have already completed at least one year... in the unlikely scenario, what happens if you fail a test in medical school at bond? Do you just repeat that paper or repeat the whole semester/year?
Thanks

resit a test - if fail again, repeat year

Hi guys,

Is anyone's FEE-HELP saying "Pending Approval"? I submitted mine yesterday morning. How long did yours take to approve?

Do we need to purchase the white lab coats? In the orientation documents it states "Should you choose to purchase one of the Bond University emblazoned lab coats, it will be presented to you at the ceremony by the Dean of Medicine." Where as I thought that the coats were provided to us by Bond free of charge?
