JCU is my 4th preference and I still got an interview invite .
Did u apply early ? I mean did you send the written application to JCU pretty early? I called them up and they said they have called in the order of application entry sent in.

I put JCU as my 3rd preference and got an interview. They could be sending them over the day, hopefully.

Hey guys, someone else has let us know that a friend of theirs received a non-standard interview. They were non-rural with 1 semester of tertiary studies but unknown GPA.

Like in the morning? Or later on? This waiting game is difficult BUT life must go on right! Hehehe :)

My fingers are crossed for everyone! Because I know how it feels!

According to some people who called student central all the invites are released - and according to other people some will still be released soon!
Yes, I was also told that all for the 1st round have been released. So no more calls for 1st round. And told to wait for the 2nd round on 28th Dec.

Good luck to everyone!! I know it must be SO stressful but if it’s meant for you it will come to you. I also really really want to thank the moderators for everything. Honestly if it wasn’t for this site I don’t think I would’ve applied anywhere other than in my state and then would’ve been stuck doing biomedicine if I didn’t get in. Really appreciate your time and patience!

Hey, I was just wondering does JCU send emails out telling people they didn't get in? Like do they inform applicants if they have been rejected?
Thanks.

How long is the JCU interview?

I didn't do one myself but am fairly sure from reading on MSO it's 45 minutes.

Do you need to have your immunisations up to date before the interview or is that just if you were to receive an offer?

The schools give you a couple of months after start of semester to get it completed, or at least started for multiple-shot ones.

Hi all ,
No first round offer for me :(
- My application was extremely strong with 3 strong letters of support. So my ATAR prediction must have been messed up.
My IB results are on 4 Jan (I am confident my actuals will be higher) and second round offers are sent on 28 Dec so I am at a disadvantage. Does anyone have any ideas at this point to help out. thanks !

The only way I can think of is get someone high ranking (Principal/Head of School) at your school to write a personal letter to JCU with a new predicted ATAR, emphasizing to JCU that IB actual results won't come out in time for JCU's 2nd round therefore please use this new prediction.

Congrats on the JCU interview offers everyone! Having received an offer myself yesterday, does anyone know how roughly how many people get invites?
Also when booking the interview, is it recommended to book in one of the earlier dates or the later dates (interviews are from 26th November to 6th December I believe)?
Thanks!
