Alright, it'll probably just be a messenger group. So where can I post to make it more seen than just this thread?

This thread is the best MSO location to post. You can post wherever you want outside of the forum also, obviously.

Does anyone happen to know which (if any) undergrad med interviews will have acting stations as part of their MMIs?

Generally, those attending interviews sign an NDA (I know I did for WSU and JMP) so can't answer this question.

Non-specifically: my understanding of the point of MMIs is that the interviewers are able to observe applicants across a range of situations and scenarios, and given these will be somewhat limited this year due to the nature of online interviews, it would be useful to think about what could reasonably be asked of you. I think it would be reasonable of universities conducting online interviews to include role play type stations as these can be readily performed in that context and if I were attending interviews this year, I'd prepare for this, personally.

You'll find a mixture of most of the types of stations in your MMIs, so you should expect acting stations. Your preparation for scenario questions can be extended to acting stations. It wouldn't be too difficult to imagine a telehealth consultation acting station where you need to give a patient bad test results or explain a disease with information given, for example. Just make sure not to laugh if you're breaking bad news and you'll be good :)

Does anyone have info on when non-GWS interview offers are going to come out or if they've already come out? Seems like most of the one in the data entry forum are GWS applicants. Cheers!

I spoke to WSU on the phone and they said all interviews will be rolled out over the week. They said they can’t give a certain date since they’re not all sent out at once- they’ll come out till the end of month though

they seem to be running interviews over a few weeks - anyone know if its more advantageous to book an interview earlier in the cycle or later?
The obvious benefit of booking later in the cycle is that you have more time to prepare for the interview. Other than that, there shouldn't be any advantages to booking earlier or later.

You could say something to the effect of "If I book earlier, I might have more of a chance of making a good impression as not as many candidates have interviewed yet". I'd counter that with the argument of that regardless of when you interview, you should be focusing on performing well without having to rely on any gimmicks around timing.

Does anyone know if the University of Adelaide sends out the notice re checking interview eligiity tomorrow to everyone who has applied or only to those students that they want to interview. Some universities never let you know if you've not been successful in gaining an interview. I'm hoping against hope it may indicate some good news, but I'm probably clutching at straws.

the email has nothing to do with your outcome unfortunately. its just letting you know that tomorrow you can log on to the admissions portal to check your interview eligibility. if you aren't successful, it would say you aren't and not give you the option to book an interview. if you are, it would say you are eligible then you'd be able to look at the times and stuff to book an interview

I remember there being something about interview cycles overlapping for certain universities so you might not want the possibility of clashing preventing you from doing both? I can't remember exactly which ones though. I'd take my advice with a grain of salt until someone can confirm my info.

I think it might be everyone. My ucat was pretty poor so its unlikely that I would get an interview and I received the email.

Thanks, I get that. I just wondered if they only sent it to those they wanted to interview. Otherwise, why take the positive step of making people log in to find out they have missed out, when they could simply just not contact them at all.

I'd prefer a straight up rejection. Confirmation means I can move on a little faster instead of holding out hope.
