hi there, can anyone confirm all interview offers have been released? My GPA is 7/7, which equates to a ranking of 99.95. Not sure why I haven’t received anything :c

Because academics alone are not sufficient to secure a JCU interview. Due to their lack of transparency (and made extra worse this year by it being the first year for no written application), we can’t tell you exactly how they do rank applicants for interviews, but I can definitely confirm that 7/7 GPAs and 99.95 ATARs routinely miss out.

atleast 8 people i k have a 7.0 and they didn't get one either, probs a rurality thing

So all interview offers have been released? Idk whether it’s worth calling them at all, im currently overseas too so roaming charges may be hefty.

Hello, i just had a question regarding the applicant portal.

I have always had troubles with the portal in my 3 applications to JCU to the point where my last two have had to be booked manually.

I am currently unable to log in still and resetting passwords does not allow me to log in either.

Is there anything once logged in that is required for me to do there that could possibly prevent me from getting an offer?

Will it be an issue that I can't log in? Or is it not important as offers are done through qtac

Did you receive an interview invite? If yes, then yes they will. If no, then no they won’t.

yes, I interviewed for both in November 2023. Does that mean I will get a chance of an offer?

No more interview invites will go out now, unfortunately. Their second (and final) round is late Dec I believe.

Anyone know if they called people last year prior to QTAC offers and if so can we expect them tomorrow or the same day as QTAC on the 11th? DrDrLMG! Have you got any info on this mate? I had a look through the previous discussions but must have missed where last years info on this was.

It’s probably in this thread but go back to the date offers came out last year and look at the posts slightly before it to see if it was mentioned. I can’t remember off the top of my head.

Found it, 11 Jan last year and the response was that they didn’t do it so expecting the same this year. Thanks for the prompt!

Yeah looking at previous years it looks like they did this last time. Internal JCU students saw it on their e student portal on the 11th but got the QTAC offer on the 12th with no calls prior to this by faculty.

I just got an email from QTAC, saying that offer rounds have been changed to the 15th, but it says the 12th on the screenshot. Does anyone know if JCU will release offers tomorrow, Friday or Monday? Will they send out letters, separate from QTAC? So people who don't have access to the student portal won't be able to see if they got an offer?

Yeah just got the email as well, Monday 15th Jan now. Just extend the period of great stress out another few days
