JMP JMP: General Entry Discussion

i really hope so! but again, i feel pretty strongly that my int isn't competitive enough for the top 20-30 as a rural student, so im hoping that an unusually high amount of people reject jmp this year in favour of other unis :( . then again, its prolly heavily unlikely. but yes, the in-person point is pretty good too!

u too! how did u feel ur int went (nothing nda related ofc)?
Ah its so hard to gauge hey. I initially thought I completely bombed it as my emotions got the better of me during my second last station. After a few days passed I thought maybe it wasnt as bad as I made it out to be but now, having not received an offer, I am back to thinking maybe I did bomb out lol. Do they just look at interview score for making offers? Or does UCAT score weigh in? Cause my UCAT score was not competitive at all.

Yes for JMP it's practically 100% on the interview score.
UCAT only serves as tiebreaker on the off chance two equal interview scores vie for the last place offer remaining.

Btw not getting an offer does not mean bomb out the interview. You could've done well but miss out by 30-40 ranks out of 300-400 interviewees.

id have to agree with you here fs. the jmp interview is so hard to gauge. i actually went through a similar emotional rollercoaster lmao. but the offers are almost 100% interviews as A1 has said. it's so unlucky bc you don't know if your interview performance was good but just under the offer-cutoff or if you completely bombed, and they don't give feedback either.

do you hv other offers? if not, r u going to try nonstandard and retry for jmp that way?

Nah no other offers, but my main focus was JMP. I think I will try again for next year, just depends on a few other things I am juggling this year. How about you?
