this is so confusing, I was told by two Latrobe admission staff that the selection rank is primarily based on UCAT scores for non-standard applicants.

Yep, that's what I was told so it still doesn't make sense how really high UCAT scorers aren't provided

There is a chance that they didn’t give any offers to metro non-standards. Otherwise I don’t understand why VTAC stated that that all 24 offers for metro offers were given to yr12 applicants.

wait so they've sent out all the metro offers??? i thought they hadn't due to HSC results not being out yet

Does La Trobe give adjustment factors for IB subjects? Idk if my 99.75 raw atar is good enough to get in.
No it does not. IB adjustments are given only at certain medical and dental schools the majority do not allow any form of bonus points aside from eas

IB adjustments aren't given at any med/dent unis to my knowledge.
I think there might not be IB adjustments but I meant more so as subject adjustments at certain universities. If a student does certain subjects they should have an increased selection rank at UQ Med/Dent and Adelaide Dent.

But I think they released offers in previous (November) rounds to non-standards? But I can't get a solid answer cause no one has confirmed but there was some data I saw on MSO
Can you show me the data? As far as I remember, only regional students received offers in November.

Hey guys, is anyone going to be attending La Trobe uni for dentistry starting this year? If so, I'd love to connect with you guys and get to know you.
Also, what are your guys' plans for accommodation? Is it recommended to live on or off-campus in 1st year?
hi! i’m a school leaver and i’ll be starting dent too this year. i’ve applied for the terrace accomodations on campus as i’ve never been to melbourne, let along bendigo or the campus, so i’m just hoping to meet people and get to know the area first. wby, do you have any plans?

Interstate applicant here, what are my chances with an ATAR of 98.25 and 10 adjustment points? Surely the cutoffs drop in February rounds right...

Hi z3w3i, me too :) though I applied for Hillside. There's a fb page for dent 2026 grads if you wanna check that out

I'm also an interstate applicant but I received an atar of 97.6 and am not sure how many adjustment points I get. How were you able to find out how many adjustment points you are eligible for?

You should have received an offer by now if you atar is 98.25 and have 10 adjustment points. Are you a nsw applicant?

Latrobe has a calculator for adjustment points but it only provides a rough guidance

does latrobe prefer students who put it as their first preference in vtac?
I think Griffith is the only uni which does that?

Latrobe has updated the selection rank based on Jan offer round 2022.
99.05 is the lowerst selection rank for 2022 entry.
Does anyone know if this apply to non-standard applicants as well?
