I can't seem to edit my above post but thought I should add that I had WSU and UNSW as higher preferences and didn't receive offers for either
Kensington or Port Macquarie??
Did you receive both offers this round?
Hello Nihal Congratulations!!! Do you have any special consideration for JCU ?
I received the UNE at the beginning of 2018 and then deferred it whilst I worked abroad for a year. I received the UNSW one today, so will not accept the UNE one.

UMAT: Very lucky to get an offer from JCU, because I did terribly in the UMAT: 50th percentile.
ATAR or GPA: 98.35
Offer Type: Bonded (Call from JCU at 12:54pm AEST)
Other Information: Interstate school leaver standard applicant (non rural and no EAS)
So excited, but I'm really still looking into whether med is really for me - 6 years is a long time and moving to Townsville is a big commitment. Also for those better versed in the whole medical sphere, how many years usually will I have to be as part of my bonded place doing work in a rural location after graduating? Thanks, and I wish all the best to other applicants. After flunking the UMAT. this was great news for me.
