Offer Received: No
University: Adelaide
UCAT: 93%ile
ATAR or GPA: 7
Special Considerations: Tertiary Transfer
Other Information: holding out for a late offer now. Congratulations to everyone who's living the dream! You'll all make amazing physicians.

Course Type: Med
Offer Received: Yes
University: JMP - UNE
UCAT: 91%ile
ATAR or GPA: OP 3
Special Considerations:
Other Information: Unbonded, waiting on UQ offers (where I have EAS) before I decide

Course Type: Med
Offer Received: yes!
University: UTAS and UNSW-Kensington
UCAT: 74th %ile 2650
ATAR or GPA: 96.45
Special Considerations: rural RA3
Offer Type: unbonded for both
Other Information: received the UTAS offer originally as a conditional offer on 26/11/19 which was later made unconditional, and both are through their respective rural application process. I have no idea which one to choose! I was hoping for an offer to Adelaide as its much closer to Mildura (where I live) and am so stressed now I have to move far away if I don't get second round lol. anyone have any ideas or opinions on which to choose? I'm just worried about how big Sydney is but even still it feels less isolated and more lively than Hobart.

Offer Received: Nope
University:
UCAT: 3260
ATAR or GPA: 6.1 B.Pharm with Honours
Special Considerations: RA2
Offer Type: Nope
Other Information:

The rejection email says

“Your qualification/s do not meet the minimum requirement for the following:

  • Pref 1 785000 B Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (Joint Medical Program) at Uni Newcastle/UNE 24 Feb 2020 (Course type: CSP)”

Not sure how that works since I was under the (false?)impression that education requirement was a hurdle to even get an interview. Also, I have a four year B.Pharm with Honours with a 6.1 GPA...

Additional info: Guess I must really suck at interviews.

Just sharing for the stats, since obviously I‘m not celebrating. :)
Hi,
I got a similar email for CSU dent saying offers were made to applicants that were more competitive. However when I log on the status still says "eligible and competing for an offer." Has the status of the course changed for you when you log onto UAC?

Course type: Med
Offer received: Yes (at 2.30am via UAC email)
University: UNSW Kensington
UCAT: 3100 (98%)
ATAR/GPA: 97.1/ 5.2 (1st year commerce)
Special considerations: Rural RRMA3 / RRMA5
Offer type: CSP - Bonded
Other information: Last year UMAT 74%, definitely worth resitting. Also had interviews at WSU and JMP. Thought I stuffed up the UNSW interview but I guess you never know! ACCEPTING! Thanks to the moderators for all the help. Congrats to everyone...if you missed out keep trying.

Course Type: Med
Offer Received: Yes
University: University of Adelaide
UCAT: 98th percentile
ATAR: 99.95
Special Considerations: N/A
Offer Type: CSP
Other Information: Thanks to the amazing mods - your posts and answers to questions offer clarity in a time of uncertainty, especially when universities often don't tell you stuff that'd be useful to know. You make the process a lot less stressful. And good luck to everyone who hasn't yet received an offer - I was in your shoes last year and it's tough but you can get through it.

Can anyone else confirm who has gotten rejection letters if this is just saying you've been rejected for this round or if your application has been totally rejected? I haven't received any other offers as CSU dent is the only course I'm applying for. My status still says eligible and competing for offers when I log onto UAC.

My interpretation is if the rejection is from UAC/TAC it's only for the particular offer round. If from the uni/school it's final.

Course Type: Med
Offer Received: Yes
University: JMP (UNE)
UCAT: 3090 (98%ile)
ATAR or GPA: 96.50/5.4GPA
Special Considerations: None
Offer Type: CSP
Other Information: Took all day for it to finally sink in, can't believe I made it here. To anyone who didn't receive an offer, don't give up hope. I myself failed the JMP interview last year and struggled to try again, but it was worth it. Don't give up hope if you know medicine is really what you want to do. Persevere, and it will be worth it.
