true...

I think I've resigned to the fact that tonight I'm going to get nothing done. At all. So this is officially me *brace yourself* relaxing.

Accomodation is really really easy to find at otago.

Just to add, I applied for accomodation and place st margs, aquainas and something else :S, in that order but was only accepted into aquanias.
I was pretty confident about getting into auckland though so i rejected my offer.
Come Jan though, I got an acceptance call from St. Margs dean!
Moral of the story to all those applying for accomodation at otago in the future, is that you can still get accepted by your first choice even if they rejected you initially.

you guys all live on campus right? have you all physically met before>
The above inspired me: perhaps we could have a MSO Health Sci Meetup at some point?
This is just an idea, and there's no reason at all why you should agree to this if you don't want to - your mental image of the rest of us might be better unspoiled by reality, lol. It'd be understandable if you were keen but would prefer it to happen after exams, or preferred not to meet any of us at all, but in any case, there's the idea, in a more accessible form than in chatbox, and let's see where this idea goes...

Keen. Like, if someone organises a time and a place, then frootloop RSPV's 'yes' lol.
Wednesday evening? (Just throwing a random time out there to see when people are free).

I wonder if it'll be better to go for the weekend (say, Saturday afternoon) instead, since we all have lectures and labs at different times, which, depending on the size of our group, could well cover all the possible times on weekdays.

Still, for what it's worth, next week (my 3-lab week) I'm free on Wednesday morning and afternoon, as well as Friday afternoon (after chem), and all evenings.

I am just gonna post. . .
So I can see what's this "Chatbox" thing. .
And. . Chat there!

But ya HUBS is ****
Anddd
Why don't everyone just form a MSO study group =P

That's plausible, too... I mean, it worked in 2009 (and in fact was pretty much the purpose of the monster thread)

If anyone cares, I'm free after 5 every day (yeah, I got the good timetable).
And as for a study group, could be a good idea once a week or fortnight or so to meet up and see where everyone's strengths/weaknesses are? Probably best to start that in semester 2 though, seeing as I'm guessing most people have their own study timetable planned for up to the sem 1 exams.

Maybe sometime after exams/start of the next semester? + I have a lab on wednesday, lol.

I'm outies like as soon as possible after exams lol. Although maybe a post-physics (it being our last exam) celebration?

Who can make the afternoon following the Physics exam?

Through chatbox:

Cathay.
Froot.
Aaa.
Ben.

Me.
[OFFTOPIC]Should we post another thread for this little gathering? Because otherwise this one will get somewhat over-run by it :p[/OFFTOPIC]

Oh I dont know. I might be tired after dominating the physics exam ... hahaha j/ks I dominate HSFY with ease. Count me down as an attendee.

[offtopic] 71 pages, and now you want to make a new thread? *more rage*, lol. I doubt we'll get past 3 pages regarding this meet up (I mean, what would we talk about after we get attendance and location? :P) but be my guest, Froot; creator of threads. [/offtopic]

[offtopic] How do we ban people from the cool kids thread? [/offtopic]

Ok, fine, no new thread :p
Well I think shunning should do it, a good shunning gets rid of most people.

Actually it might be good for newer people that don't casually read this thread, since a big meet up thread title may get more attention than page 72 in this thread, lol.

Nah it's okay, while it is an all-welcome meeting, we don't need to go out of our way to advertise it - we're not exactly trying to gather up a large group for anything...

Especially not if it's for a study-group in semester 2, last thing I want is 100 health-scis with one post each on MSO turning up to a study meeting. The post-physics debrief, sure, but if it turns into a study group it'd probably be better if slightly smaller...
