Do stick around, we get lonely here, right Ben/Cath?I own nothing between jeans and formal pants, so it looks like I'm going to have to stick with formal pants. Might give the dinner-jacket a miss though. Now, to tie, or not to tie...You can wear anything you want to an interview, but it's best to not be too formal or informal. Jeans are a no-no. The best it to go for something that you are comfortable in as well as being professional (ie what a health professional would wear, not overly bushiness like) it doesn't really matter, the interviewers will not make a decision based on your outfit, it's more to complete the package and make you feel confident for your interview.
Ties are fine though without tie, a nice shirt is a must. Don't have to plain, just not a Hawaiian shirt. You might want to consider a clip for your tie so it's not distracting and you do not play with it during your interview.I own nothing between jeans and formal pants, so it looks like I'm going to have to stick with formal pants. Might give the dinner-jacket a miss though. Now, to tie, or not to tie...ETA: Skyfire, they technically are supposed to do it the way their website says they do, but I'll agree that it's entirely possible that they don't.
It is a threshold for *each section*. Therefore, you could have a raw score of 90 in two sections, but fall under the threshold in the other one, and not get an interview. Is that lame? Yes. But that's how they do it, unfortunately.Yes, froot you are probably right, only in the case of being below the paper threshold will they take into account papers, but the fact that skyfire gained an interview with a s2 of 46 seems weird considering my s1 and s2 scores were 61 and 67 respectively, which should be above threshold...
Hmm, those scores seem like they should have been good enough for an interview, or at least *very* close... Maybe email them just to check? (There's a (slim) chance ACER may have sent the wrong marks to the uni, or something like that).s1 61 s2 46 s3 67.....thats my umat...yes do prefer med over dent tho...current average is 91....think i may be border line at the moment for med tho...
Yeah I'm thinking suit - the blazer. Definitely with a tie though, would be weird to not have one imo. Though I suppose it depends on what most other people are wearing; might have a wee sneak peek at them before going to my allocated time.
Haha lonely huh? Maybe I should resurface a little more often instead of prowling around.
I got an interview too!! Pretty exciting stuff! I've never experienced anything like this before...
How do you find out what your scores are for individual sections?

It should be on your results page? And did no one else apply for Physio?
EDIT: Check to the left of your percentile.
... what kind of health sci am I?? haha
That Otago-weights (s1 and x 0.45, s3 x 0.1) to 60.2 raw, which is probably better than 80-85% of all the other people applyingThey were S1: 57 S2:65 S3:53
Don't really know where they stand on the grand scale of things and if they're bad or good
Not too bad I hope!!
I feel like the opposite or normal... Section 2 is honestly the only section I CAN do...
