AW DOODLE, I HAD 19/25

You killed it.

But seriously.
FML,
Im seriously quite pissed.
I need to seek wisdom if this trend is gonna continue for GI in the exams.
Gotta rethink the study method for this module.

Umm as far as I can remember it was just on chairs with them on the far side of the room sitting next to each other and you on the door side.

24 wont complain

I have heard great things about it,
got a couple friends living there,
Its quite a distance away but there is a shuttle system every hour, so you do technically walk less than everyone else.
The food is great there too apparently, (Carrington's chef moved there)
So, all in all you are in for a good hall!
It's just not many people apply for aquinas, but it's a really good hall which doesn't get enough recognition as it's a distance away.

i just got offered aquinas as well, but i didn't put it on my preference list.

Do you know what happened to my preferences?

Sorry to be blunt, but that means that you probably weren't offered a place at any of your preferences.

What mighty said. Don't panic, I didn't put UniCol (where I ended up) on my preference list either, and it didn't kill me. Just out of interest, what halls did you have on your preference list? Because if you put the 'prestigious' colleges, and didn't get in, then they'll have just chucked your file at the next college in line.
Sorry if you lot get sick of me repeating this (actually, not sorry, not in the slightest), but the whole college thing gets blown waaaay out of proportion...

i put knox and sewlyn then cumberland.
should i accept for aquinas? is it any good?
I find the "is it any good" question a little harsh... It's not like there's a big difference of standards between colleges... Aquinas, home of the best view in Dunedin, and the coolest health scis because they jump out of their college shuttle and walk straight into the St David Complex, where most health sci lectures are held. Sure, it's a tad inconvenient when you want to go shopping in town or something, but I wouldn't pass up on Aquinas in a hurry.

i wasn't looking down on it, i just havent heard much about it.
Are any other HSFY 2012 staying there?
Should i take the offer?

Are any other HSFY 2012 staying there?
There's bound to be. There are 1265 of us this year, and that number's not likely to go down. There may not be any on this forum, but this forum has, what, 5? 10? 20? Anyhow, that is a tiny subset of the HSFY population.
