Personally I found it harder than the first test, but if you know your stuff well then you'll be right. Just like any Health Sci test: know your stuff well and you will be fine. The upcoming Hubs test- is it hard? Because the exam covers lectures 17 to 38 and there's only 25 questions in the test- so like one for each lecture.... I hope it's not too bad!
ermm... lets just say, i don't want to freak you out or anything but today at the class reps meeting, course coordinator asked us if we were scared about the upcoming test... one person said... NO... whilst the rest of us just stayed quiet haha... then the course coordinator told us that "we should be scared" :S But then again, she did say afterwards that this was because the topics tested are conceptually more difficult which (in my mind) translates to: if you get the concepts in every lecture (and all the tiny scruny details that the HUBS department supposedly likes to test), you will be fineThe upcoming Hubs test- is it hard? Hey guys, could anyone help me with the lecture objective for todays cels lecture.
"explain how patterns of relationships between sequences might provide evidence for evolution" Thanks![]()

Thanks Lulwut![]()
)No worries, the lecture objectives today were a bit.. loose? It was a great lecture though! The stuff Dearden said at the end was actually really well done and (..without wanting to sound like a wanker) quite inspiring! I did also like how he pretty much said that GPs are wasting their time (not that I agree)
Thoughts on the new HUBS lecturer?
I actually really like her -- she's quite interesting but it's a shame she doesn't have much info on the slides.

She seems to be a nice person, though I don't know if she will have enough time to teach everything later when the amount of content increases.
Was quite surprised when she went to the next slide when the slide just had 1 2 3 on it, caught me off-guard![]()

Well, I plan to throw a sabbatical for a few days, so I just wanted to say, GOOD LUCK EVERYONE for tomorrow!Hope you all do really well, and by means of reassurance, to those that tend to panic the day before/ a few minutes before the exam (I will take my own advice too dw
) don't panic guys! i'm sure you will all be fine, try to keep calm, and have a 'healthy, happy mental attitude' as you go into the test, I am sure that this will help you feel more positive about the exam
Focus on what you know best in the exam, and if you find things that you find difficult... then use them as a lesson, not as a 'OMG I NEED TO FREAK OUT NOW IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS EXAM' precursor... I.e. make sure that you look at it, and learn it for the finals
Best of luck all, dearest mso family
