Hi, I was wondering if someone could give me some info on the lab tests, online tests.. basically all of the ways to earn marks other that the mid and end of term exams. Basically just what they comprise of and difficulty.
Thanks

Lab marks are pretty much given to you, nearly impossible not to get them. Apart from chem which tests you on the lab material in the lab (most people still end up getting close to full marks anyways)

And HEAL tutorial exit tests (the one lab/tute exit test I actually lost marks in last year *sobs*).
But yeah, as lul says, the marks that aren't in the mid-sems and the finals are essentially free (except perhaps the first CELS GLM, but it's fairly hard to give specific advice for that).

Hello everyone,

Have been "stalking" this forum for most of this year and felt it was time to say hello. So, hello guys! Keep up the feedback. It's quite helpful for the silent stalkers. haha

:)

Damn stalkers! (aka most of HSFY)

5 minutes of content, 50 minutes of lecture - typical cvs physiology lecture!

How are people keeping up with 192? I find just listening to the poscasts to reinforce material is enough but is anyone actually going over the text book readings aswell? Hope everyones semester is going well thus far!

How are people keeping up with 192?
Which one? :p

But seriously, there's BIOC192, HEAL192 and HUBS192, and they're all something-192, so it'll probably help to clarify which one you're after ;)

whoops, i meant hubs192 :)

Textbook is a waste of time - all it has is the exact same stuff as presented in the lectures. As for study, I write my notes up twice and make flash cards for every lecture and revisit.

Well UMAT is tomorrow, so good luck, don't stress, etc.
I will say this though: Get a good sleep, get to the test centre nice and early, and generally make sure your morning has as few stress-inducing stimuli as possible.
Good luck! Try to forget about it after you come out of the exam room, not worth stressing about for the next few months!

Good luck ladies and gents! Can't wait to get it over and done with personally :P

Good luck for the HSFYers.

Finished? woot

Quickly write down your experiences to share with others.
