Told you so!!! XD You will probably be pleasantly surprised by Heal as well. Don't be scared to check!!!Very much so! Still didn't get a great mark, but covered my worst mark in first sem by far so.. stoked.
Yay! Hope everyone got the marks they were after (/deservedAnnnnnd Hubs and Bioc are out. It's over!
Hey what kind of a percentage average do we need to get offered a place into dent?
and what is the likelyhood of people getting in off waiting list?
my average is exactly 81% ...had the interview and thought it went reasonably well :/ im hating this wait for the offers though :/
I dont think you will get in straight away and I rekon you will be put on the waiting list. I think your a gray area to be honest, no way of telling. If you do get in I presume it will be near the start of the semester as was the case for someone I knew this year. Also because seat numbers are so low im sure the cutoff varies each year.
You think this wait is agonising??Its a walk in the park. Try being on the waitinglist itself. I was on the waitinglist in my second year and honestly the worst thing ever especially if you might just get an offer.
@kitkat31 the very same average I believe. Hate to say this, but I wouldnt be surprised if the next person on the waitinglists grades was reaaaally close. Also im not convinced if dent school uses GPA (0-9) or % (e.g. 81%) as a cut off for undergraduate entry, GPA is the case for graduate entry. And for more information on GPA plz search MSO, plenty of explanations out there.
Caesar went and got his CHEM paper looked-at, and his mark went from <70 to >70 (so y'know, the difference between 'No med for you' and 'Still in the running'). Uni departments do screw up, so if you really feel there's been a mistake made, there's no harm in having a look.I'm not sure if this is the correct place to put this, but oh well.
Do you guys reckon it would be worth submitting a recount application for your worst paper? I was sure that I did better but who knows? Does anyone know of someone who got their mark changed>
