based off 2019 and 2020 2930 were both 90+ do you mind sharing individual scores for each subtest? also congrats! thats a great scoreHi guys, say my test today and scored 2930 was hoping for a 3000 so not ecstatic but can’t say i’m too disappointed either. What do y’all reckon my chances of being in the 90th percentile are??
Good job mate! I'm sitting my test there too! Was the font really big or pretty average? Also was the calc like laggy...Date completed: 17/07/2021

General thoughts on your results:
VR: 600 – Not the best but was expected as it was my worst subtest mock
DM: 710 – Quite disappointed as this was one of my strongest subtest mocks and most consistent overall.
QR: 870 – Happy with this; found it easier than the mocks
AR: 830 – Quite happy with this as well; only a few patterns were difficult.
TOTAL: 3010
SJT: 612
General comments on your experience:
The invigilators were all accommodating, nice and helpful. The test was taken on a desktop computer: monitor (roughly 22 inches), wired keyboard (I believe it was hp) and a wired mouse with mouse pad. There was no lag whatsoever when going to the next question and no technical issues were encountered. The test screen appeared a little stretched, but it was quite easy to adjust to. There were 2 sets of 2 minutes of instructions and disclaimer information before the 1-minute section of the verbal reasoning section so, overall, I had 5 minutes before the actual verbal reasoning begun.
There were earmuffs (looked heavy duty) and ear plugs available and I used ear plugs (which were quite comfortable). The chair was a wheely, cushion chair with armrests. I was in a soundproof room with four other students and inside my own cubicle so there were basically no distractions until the very end of the test. The pen was very similar to the one I used in practice which was the Staedtler Lumocolor Non-Permanent Fine Marker Black and in the exam, it worked quite well. Note board was laminated and all good. The online calculator was quite good and worked well (tip: if you click away from the calculator, you need to click on the calculator for you to type numbers into it again).
Got the email about my score around 100 minutes after my exam, however, I went to my Pearson VUE account to check my score (coincidentally) just before the email came (because I was too impatient).
Overall, there were absolutely no problems with the test center that compromised my score. Will post mock averages soon if anyone wants. Most importantly, I just wanted to thank everyone on MSO as it provided me with a lot of resources and information which helped allay my worries!
Thanks so much! The font was quite average, not overly big but not small either - it wasn't a problem for me at all. The calculator was quite good and responsive and was much better than the official one - I was quite relieved that the calculator was good. Good luck for your exam!Good job mate! Congratulations on the improvement. You mentioned that your VR section was time-consuming this year. How so? And how would you compare it to last year's VR?Hi all. Just did my test an hour ago and have already received the score report. My results were:
Verbal Reasoning 640 Decision Making 760 Quantitative Reasoning 740 Abstract Reasoning 770 Total Score 2910 I found the test overall not as hard as most preparation sources I had used. The verbal reasoning questions I had were very time consuming though, resulting in the 640 which I had really worked to get higher in practises but unfortunately to no avail
Situational Judgement 599
I also did the test last year. My results for the 2020 one are below. I found AR this year much easier, additionally, last year I remember not sweating QR whereas this time around I had to be much more focus to achieve a similar score.
Verbal Reasoning 680 Decision Making 750 Quantitative Reasoning 760 Abstract Reasoning 690 Total Score 2880 Hopefully my 2910 this year will be enough to qualify for an interview at JMP/WSU. This year I will be applying as a non standard and with old ATAR 98.6.
Situational Judgement 583
If anyone has any questions fire away, will be happy to answer
Using the method I was using in mocks for flagging time consuming questions and moving on, probably half of the questions ended up being flagged before I went back and answered them. Which threw a bit of a spanner in the works for my technique of answering that subsection. Last year I had a significantly worse strategy for VR but I predict if it had been the same this year I would have achieved much higher, if that makes sense.Congratulations on the improvement. It will depend on where you will be sitting the exam. It's hard to tell but generally, it would be your stock standard keyboard. Can anyone confirm if the computer keyboard provided has a standard number pad attached? Thanks!

Okay thanks for the info. I see for Newcastle you just need to maintain higher than credit average which is fine anyway. Hopefully my UCAT is enough for an interview, depending on where the percentiles fall.It will depend on where you will be sitting the exam. It's hard to tell but generally
If you are taking a gap year, you are a school leaver.
If you have commenced tertiary studies, you are non-standard. WSU/CSU (JPM) will take the better of either your GPA or ATAR (which you already meet the threshold for. UNE/UoN (JMP) will take your GPA after you have completed 1.0 FTE (This means your ATAR won't be used unless you have completed less than 1.0 FTE).
Is standard without the number pad on the right? Thanks! It will depend on where you will be sitting the exam. It's hard to tell but generally, it would be your stock standard keyboard.
