Hey derm4eva,Hi everyone, I just completed one of the official UCAT mocks and found that the keyboard shortcuts (alt+n) did not work. Could anyone please confirm that they work in the actual test?
No problem and thank you so much! I noticed a few of the shortcuts in the official mocks didn't work as well but I can assure you that all of it worked for me. Feel free to ask anymore questions. Good luck again!Tha
Thanks legend! I low-key panicked because my practice score dropped without the short cuts. Congrats on your amazing score!![]()
Does anyone remember whether headphones are provided at the testing venue? I taking the test at Bridge St (Sydney), which is a Pearson Professional Centre.
Ah yes, I just realised the document I looked at was for testing centres in IndiaFrom what I’ve read, no venues allow head phones. Some (all?) supply ear plugs, or you can take your own (still in packaging).
LOL I have got to say this is so far one of the best posts on medstudentsonline in 2021Ah yes, I just realised the document I looked at was for testing centres in India![]()

| Verbal Reasoning | 740 - Found test much easier than practice. |
| Decision Making | 730 - Test mildly easier than practice |
| Quantitative Reasoning | 730 - Around the same as practice |
| Abstract Reasoning | 690 - Has always been my worst section... I noticed not difference LOL. Guessed like a solid 3 sets at least. |
| Total Score | 2890 |
| Situational Judgement | 628 - It was somewhat different from my practice material but I didn't put much practice time into it |
i also got 2890! congrats with your score!Hey I'm a long time lurker making my first post

General thoughts on your results: I did way better than I expected- I got really sick in the week before the exam and sat it in pain with the only reschedule dates on weekdays during my trials tor right before :/ (Not contagious though no need to worry)
I was doing way better in practice (raw scores around 80% VR, 80% DM, 90%+ QR. AR was still ass though)
General comments on your experience: I personally found the parra center really stuffy towards the end of the two hours... might just be a result of not feeling well though. Otherwise it was nice and quiet + pen worked.
Someone who was doing the test at the same time as me had their computer crash on them though :/
Key take away: Guys don't get yourself sick before an important exam. D:
Congrats!! What are some of your strategies/approaches for VR?Hey I'm a long time lurker making my first post

I read the entire passage in ~20-25 secs enough to understand the key points + author intention but not thoroughly enough to memorise names or dates. Then the questions 15-20s each based on the first reading unless the question specifically asked for some definition or date where I would use the time I originally saved by doing the other questions quickly to spend a bit more time specifically rereading a key section.Congrats!! What are some of your strategies/approaches for VR?
Do not worry! More likely than not your experience will be smooth.AHH! im so scared my computer is gonna crash, my test is also in parra

I found VR and SJ to be as expected. DM and AR were particularly difficult for me and I didn't do as well as I had during my practice (although I'm still happy to have improved). QR was easier than expected. All in all super happy and now I can stop worrying about it
