would that be because of my low ucat or atar, would pushing up atar increase chances?
Your ucat is the thing limiting you in this scenario, your ATAR is high enough for pretty much all dent schools apart from usyd, unimelb and Griffith. Just having that 87 is a bit borderline. Also you should apply to uadel you have a borderline shot at an interview there as well; where ucat is not much of a factor

Other:

Griffith: offer (USC is most certain, but possibly the other campuses too)
UQ: interview (hopefully, it's the first year so we can't be 100% sure, but I'd say so)
Bond: psychometric test invite
JCU: depends on written application
UNSW: Oof, close. Your UCAT may be the downfall here.
JPM: can't say as you didn't provide your calculation (and I can't be bothered doing it for you ;), but I'd say not just eye-balling it
JMP: unlikely due to UCAT
Monash: no
UTAS: no
UAdel: no
Flinders: no
Curtin: maybe an interview (we don't get much data)
UWA: maybe an interview (we don't get much data)

Summary: the non-UCAT unis are your best bet.

I highly doubt we could give you anything even mildly accurate as an international. There just isn't enough data, and we haven't got a clue about the competition and the competitive grades required to get in. All I can say is a maybe? But also if you were a domestic applicant, you would not qualify to UQ at all. Your best bet is just to wait it out unfortunately :(
EDIT: talking out of my ass, read the message below hahaha

For UQ dent international students, you don't need ucat, so you just need your score; that being 15, which is high enough, given you tick the prerequisites, you should snag an international spot.

Griffith: the 99.60 could (maybe very just) get you a USC offer, the 99.20 would rule you out of all
UQ: fingers crossed for interview (first year, so hard to say for sure with a sub-90th)
Bond: psychometric invite
JCU: depends on written application
JPM: no
JMP: no (unlikely, you'd need the UCAT requirement to drop a bit)
UNSW: definitely not with 99.20 (hard cut off of 99.25 last year), unlikely with 99.60+89th as well, though
Monash: no
UTAS: no
UAdel: no
Flinders: no
UWA: maybe (we don't get much data, if you got an interview 99.60 would make you more competitive for offer)
Curtin: maybe (we don't get much data, if you got an interview, 99.60 would make you more competitive for offer)

Best Bets
JCU: will depend on your written application
Griffith: maybe USC (unlikely Nathan or Gold Coast)

To answer your specific preferences
UNSW: no
JPM: no
JMP: no
UWA: I have heard of people with UCATs/UMATs lower than yours getting interviews, but I have no idea if that was because they're Broadway. TKAO will know more
Curtin: I wouldn't think so

Others
Your UCAT will rule you out of all UCAT-reliant unis (see UWA note above though)

Without rurality, your ATAR is just too low for UNSW, unfortunately. You will have to hope you scrape a WSU or JMP interview, but both will be borderline I think. Good luck regardless :)

On the Curtin and UWA front, I think you could probably get an interview at Curtin, but UWA is a bit of an unknown as far as I am aware.

Expect interviews at: Adelaide, JMP, UNSW (these first three are probably borderline this year and could go either way), UQ, Curtin, UWA. Place offers at any Griffith campus are likely. JCU depends on written application.

Monash, Flinders, UTAS, WSU are probably all out.

Good luck :)

I’d say JCU is your only chance, unfortunately (and Bond if financially feasible). Your ATAR means you’ll never be competitive for UNSW, and your ATAR isn’t enough for JMP or JPM.

You should definitely re-sit UCAT next year for JMP and JPM if you can. And also think about GAMSAT and graduate entry and keeping your GPA as close to 6.8 as you can.

Good luck!
