I then got a follow up email saying I had been sent the email in error. Following my actual interview last month, they told me I wouldn't receive correspondence from UNSW, but rather an email from UAC in January if I was offered a place.

Was your email this morning from UNSW or UAC? Wondering if you received it in error as well.

I received an email from UNSW informing me I had been rejected. However, an hour ago I received a reply from admissions that said that there was an error as they didn't have access to my updated uni results and I'd be re-ranked for January. So I think for non-standards, UAC didn't update in time so it defaulted to ATAR and not the latest uni results.

I'm non-standard and I had my interview last month. Told I would be informed in January whether I had received an offer. Although my most recent university results were from two years ago. So I'm gathering this round of rejections relates to those completing year 12 this year, or relying on uni results received this year?
 
Yes, I think there was issue with the UNSW results for trimester 3 not updating in time and thats what caused some rejections.

Hi, I was just wondering if UNSW reimburses travel costs for the interview as I am travelling from WA.

It seems to be that no Non-Standards received an interview invite for round 2 at UNSW again. I think that after the mistake with the tertiary results they forgot to add us back into the pool. I've emailed them anyhow.
 
Can you please reply to or heart this message if you got UNSW offer at beginning of Jan but then declined it after receiving another offer
