I’d think none. Admittedly, I’ve not done a UQ MMI but I have done them elsewhere and in my experience they have nothing to do with your medical knowledge (as it’s assumed they’ll teach you that stuff when you actually start studying Med). And also does anyone know what current medical issues I should study up on before my MMI?
Ahhh okay thank you so much! I've now done practice on just normal MMI questions from the medstudentsonline portal (thank you for linking that resource by the way) so I think I should be all set for my interview tomorrow!I’d think none. They have in the past, but you have to do a “conditional accept” and keep the CSP course as your preference. If you just accept, that’s what you will get.does anyone know whether uq will upgrade bmp to csp if offers are declined/lapsed?
thanks a lot, I called uq admission yesterday and that’s exactly what they advised me to doThey have in the past, but you have to do a “conditional accept” and keep the CSP course as your preference. If you just accept, that’s what you will get.
Yes - if it’s the same as in past years they should be out Wednesday 24th, unless the delays to the main offer round have affected this process.Does UQ usually send out all the declined offers in the next offer round?
Iirc UQ interview invites are solely on UCAT score, since they don't ask for predicted ATAR.Does UQ look at only my UCAT score when determining if I will receive an interview invite, or do they look at ATAR/Projected ATAR as well?
For place offers the weightings are 25% Selection rank + 25% UCAT + 50% Interview. Also, do they treat selection ranks with adjustments the same as raw ATAR scores?
1. Have you checked your mail Spam box?Anyone know if uq has given top up interviews in the past for interstates. I got 3310 but didn't recieve an invite while someone else with 3310 recieved an invite. I was wondering that if ppl rejected their interviews if I would get a top up![]()
yeah I have nothing there also the other 3310 is interstate. I reckon i'll just email them tmmrw morning thanks.1. Have you checked your mail Spam box?
2. Is the other 3310 Qld or interstate?
Worth giving UQ a call since very unlikely they would cut off on the same UCAT score (without mentioning a tie-breaker).
Don't know about UQ but WSU is well known for giving top-up invites when there are untaken spots at close of interview booking.
They do have a SJT tiebreaker, last year someone right on the UQ cutoff missed out over other people on the same score due to their low SJT.1. Have you checked your mail Spam box?

From memory, we have had reports of top up invites from UQ in recent years. It used to only be WSU and UAdel that did this. Not sure if it’s an ‘every year’ thing for UQ though. Definitely worth contacting them given your UCAT.yeah I have nothing there also the other 3310 is interstate. I reckon i'll just email them tmmrw morning thanks.
I remember UQ had a SJT tiebreaker when UCAT was used for place offers directly, no interview then.
Otoh I see on page 48 this UQ Guide for 2025 intake

"Applicants are required to have completed Year 12 in the previous year and to have sat a UCAT ANZ test. The first 4 sections are combined to form the UCAT ANZ aggregate, which is the primary instrument for interview selection and is also used in calculating the rank order for final offers."
Also from this webpage > How to apply (MD provisional entry)
"Selection for interview
Once your application has been assessed to see if you meet the minimum entry requirements, you'll receive correspondence via your QTAC account to let you know if you’ve been invited for an MMI.
Applicants are selected for interviews based on their aggregate score from the first 4 sections of the UCAT ANZ." - Again no mention of tiebreak.
